Her paternal grandparents were John PHILLIPS and Rebecca Jane WILLIAMS. She had four brothers and three sisters, named John Oscar, William Moore, Herbert Spencer, Shelah, Hattie Roberta, Katie Lee and Sarah Rebecca. She is the oldest of the eight children.-
