William PERSINGER 
William was born in 1785 in Potts Creek,Botetourt,VA. William's father was John Christopher PERSINGER and his mother was Maria Barbara PENCE. His paternal grandfather was Jacob S. Persinger and his paternal grandmother is Rebecca UNKNOWN; his maternal grandparents are Henry PENCE and Mary Margaret BLIMLEY. He had eight brothers and eight sisters, named Henry, David, Jacob, Moses, John, George, Adam, Allen, Jane, Harriet, Mary, Catherine, Elizabeth, Rebekah, Catherine and Isabella. He died at the age of 70 on May 25th, 1855 in Xenia,Greene,OH.-
