Margaret was born on June 28th, 1847. Margaret's father is James Thompson PATTON and her mother was Mary PHILLIPS. Her maternal grandfather was William PHILLIPS and her maternal grandmother is Nancy WATERS. She had four brothers and six sisters, named Joseph Wilson, William Buell, Shelah, Hiram C, Nancy, Anna, Mary, Eliza Caroline Odgen, Katherine and Julia Agnes.-
