Elizabeth Morton Nance

Elizabeth was born on December 30th, 1832 in , Williamson, Tennessee.  Elizabeth's father was Josiah Crenshaw NANCE and her mother was Bethenia Harden Sneed.  Her paternal grandfather was William Howe Nance and her paternal grandmother is Elizabeth Veneable Morton; her maternal grandparents are James Sneed and Bethenia Harden Perkins. She had five brothers and six sisters, named James, William, Costantine, Josiah, Nicholas Charles, Mary Ann, Bethenia, Martha Harriett, Susannah, Sallie and Virginia Tennessee.  She was the second oldest of the twelve children.  She died at the age of 67 on May 12th, 1900.
