Maria Hester Monroe

Maria Hester was born in 1803 in Paris, France. Maria Hester's father was James Lawrence Monroe and her mother was Elizabeth Kortright. Her paternal grandparents were Andrew "Spence" Monroe and Elizabeth JONES. She had a brother and a sister, named James Spence and Eliza Kortright. She was the youngest of the three children. She died in Oak Hill (Monroe Plantation), Loudin County , Virginia.
