James Spence Monroe

James Spence was born in May 1799. James Spence's father was James Lawrence Monroe and his mother was Elizabeth Kortright. His paternal grandparents were Andrew "Spence" Monroe and Elizabeth JONES. He had two sisters named Eliza Kortright and Maria Hester. He was the second oldest of the three children. He died at the age of 1 on September 28th, 1800 in Richmond Virginia.
