Sarah was born on January 4th, 1771 in Of, Pikeland, Chester, Pennsylvania. Sarah's father is William Milhous and her mother is Hannah Baldwin. Her paternal grandparents were Thomas Milhous and Sarah MILLER; her maternal grandparents are Joshua Baldwin and Mercy Brown. She had three brothers and five sisters, named Samuel, Joshua, William, Mercy, Rachel, Hannah, Phebe and Jane. She is the second oldest of the nine children.-
