Elmer E. was born on August 9th, 1891 in Troy, Madison County, IL.1 Elmer E.'s father was Chesley P. McKee and his mother was Margaret "Maggie" G. Millen. His paternal grandparents were John McKee and Julia Posey. He had five brothers and two sisters, named John Chesley, David Millen, Wilbur Allen, Robert Nathaniel, Chesley Posey "Bud", Jennie June and Julia E. "Bess". He was the third youngest of the eight children. He died at the age of 81 on May 18th, 1973 in St. Joseph's Hospital, Alton, Madison Co., IL.1 -
