John McDonough

John was born on February 13th, 1798 in Raleigh, Wake, North Carolina.  John's father was Andrew C. McDonough and his mother was Sarah Elizabeth Patterson.  His paternal grandfather was Andrew McDonough and his paternal grandmother is Mary UNKNOWN. He had six brothers and a sister, named William, Andrew C., Henry, James, Ransom, Calvin and Elizabeth.  He was the second youngest of the eight children. He had a half-sister named Mary Polly.  He died at the age of 52 on December 25th, 1850 in , Desha, Arkansas.
