He had four brothers and six sisters, named Thomas Henry, William Wesley, John Hyrum, Nephi Manning, Nancy Ellenore Brittania, Susan Elizabeth, Mary Angeline, Francis Alice, Cynthia Ann and Maggie. He was the sixth oldest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 74 on January 26th, 1939 in Emery, Emery, Ut.
