German Nicholas Jordan 
German Nicholas was born on August 20th, 1828 in Campbell County, Virginia. German Nicholas' father was German Jordan and his mother was Rebecca Reid. His paternal grandparents are Samuel Jordan and Annis Comer; his maternal grandparents are Thomas Reid and Nancy Forbes. He had eight brothers and two sisters, named James Thomas, John Forbes, William Orr, Edwin Clarendon, Robert Merton, Alexander Hamilton, Branch, Charles Henry Dr., Nancy and Rebecca. He was the fourth youngest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 60 on October 24th, 1888 in Baltimore, Maryland. He was buried in 1888 in Green Mountain Cemetery, Baltimore, MD.General Notes

Occupation: Helped work plantation in Mississippi.
After Sarah Virginia died, he and Grace Mary went to the Jordan Springsin Maryland to be with his family. Susan Rebecca Jennette and Charlesstayed with the Bull family in Mississippi (just before Civil War).
