Sarah Virginia was born in 1838 in Benton, Yazoo County, Mississippi. Sarah Virginia's father was John Middleton Hendricks and her mother was Susannah Bull. Her maternal grandparents were James Hogan Bull and Freelove Lovey Campbell. She had two brothers and four sisters, named Charles Plum, John Middleton Jr., Martha Ann, Mary Jane, Emaline Robinson and Susan Jennett. She was the second youngest of the seven children. She died at the age of 31 on December 28th, 1869 in Benton, Yazoo County, Mississippi. She was buried in 1869 in Bull Cemetery, Benton, Yazoo Co, MS.General Notes
