She had four brothers and seven sisters, named Walter Tinsley, Thomas L., Theophilus Elijah, George Washington, Stacie Eugene, Ora Belle, Paulina A, Martha Jane, Mary Ann, Sara and Bessie Lee. She is the third youngest of the twelve children.-
