Thomas was born on March 15th, 1865 in West Point, Lee Co., IA. Thomas' father was Thomas Jefferson Hoover and his mother is Lucy Ophelia Hoskinson. His paternal grandfather was Enos Hoover and his paternal grandmother is Ruhanna Shaw. He was an only child. He died at the age of 76 on January 28th, 1942 in Walla Walla, WI.-
