John HUNTER 
John was born on August 27th, 1825 in Paisley, Renfrew, Scotland. John's father was John HUNTER and his mother was Jean (Jane) MURCHIE. His paternal grandparents were Robert HUNTER and Jean Or Jane BROCK; his maternal grandparents were William MURCHIE and Elizabeth GEMMIL. He had seven brothers and three sisters, named Robert, William, Thomas, Daniel, James, Clark, Archibald Murchie, Elizabeth, Jane Broke and Mary. He was the fourth oldest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 78 on August 30th, 1903 in Ogden, Weber, Utah. He was buried on September 2nd, 1903 in Ogden City Cemetery, Ogden, Weber, Utah.General Notes
