William MURCHIE 
William was born on February 28th, 1778 in Newton, Monkton, Ayrshire, Scotland and his baptism took place there on February 28th, 1778. William's father is Daniel MURCHIE and his mother is Margaret MCKENNAN MCKINNE. He had three brothers named Neil, Pathrick and Daniel. He was the youngest of the four children. Daniel MURCHIE
