Samuel Glover 
Samuel was born on August 31st, 1804 in Canton Twp. Washington Co. PA.1 Samuel's father was Amos Glover and his mother was Ann Katherine Holmes Smith. His paternal grandfather was John Glover. He had four brothers and two sisters, named David, James, Thomas G., Crawford, Sarah and Catherine Ann. He was the second youngest of the seven children. He died at the age of 59 on September 30th, 1863 in Centerville, Belmont Co. OH. He was buried in Centerville, Belmont Co. OH.1 1 General Notes
Samuel and Eliza were married by William Workman, Justice of the Peace. Samuel was a merchant of a dry goods store and a farmer. In the 1850 census;

Samuel died in 1863 while his sons, John, Samuel and Amos were serving in the Union Army.
In the Concord Church Cemetery in Centerville, Eliza's mother Elizabeth has an impressive tombstone with an inscription which reads:
Goodness and mercy all my days has surely followed me, and in God's house forever more, my dwelling place shall be.
‌Samuel and Eliza Thompson were married in a religious ceremony on January 7th, 1830 in Smith Twp. Belmont Co. OH.1 They had six sons and three daughters, named Arthur McKisson, Amos, John J, Samuel Jr, David, Joshua, Elizabeth Jane, Mary Ann and Sarah.

John J Glover
John J was born on March 12th, 1835 in Smith Twp. Belmont Co. OH. He died at the age of 79 on December 16th, 1914 in Washington, DC.
Elizabeth Jane Glover
Elizabeth Jane was born on March 6th, 1837 in Smith Twp. Belmont Co. OH. She died at the age of 54 on January 23rd, 1892 in Delaware, Delaware Co. OH.
Samuel Jr Glover
Samuel Jr was born on November 28th, 1839 in Smith Twp. Belmont Co. OH. He died at the age of 70 on January 24th, 1910 in Minneapolis, Hennepin Co. MN.
