John J Glover 
John J was born on March 12th, 1835 in Smith Twp. Belmont Co. OH. John J's father was Samuel Glover and his mother was Eliza Thompson McKisson. His paternal grandparents were Amos Glover and Ann Katherine Holmes Smith. He had five brothers and three sisters, named Arthur McKisson, Amos, Samuel Jr, David, Joshua, Elizabeth Jane, Mary Ann and Sarah. He was the third oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 79 on December 16th, 1914 in Washington, DC.General Notes
John served in the Civil War in the Union Army. After his discharge, he was given a position in the Pension Department at Washington, DC.
