Mildred Arletta Glover 
Mildred Arletta was born on March 24th, 1908 in Buhler, Kansas. Mildred Arletta's father was Frederick Clinton Glover and her mother was Margaret Elizabeth "Mag" Grandon. Her paternal grandparents were James Hanson Glover and Martha Jane "Mattie" Payne. She had two brothers and five sisters, named Lee Otis, Clinton Clyde, Ida May, Vera Irene, Wilma Grace, Sadie Melvina and Living. She died at the age of 91 on September 17th, 1999 in Rush Center Nursing Home, LaCrosse, Rush County, Kansas. She was buried in Mitchell Cemetery, Hutchinson, Reno County, Kansas.1 General Notes
OBITUARY-
Mildred A. Glover Stowell, 91, formerly of Hutchinson, died September 17, 1999, at Rush County Nursing Home, La Crosse.
She was born March 24, 1908, at Buhler, the daughter of Fred C. and Margaret E. Grandon Glover. She was a 1926 graduate of Hutchinson High School. A longtime Wichita resident, she returned to Hutchinson in 1990 and moved to La Crosse in 1999. She was a homemaker.
On April 14, 1928, she married Gerald Francis Stowell at Newton. He died January 30, 1997.
Survivors include: a son, Jerry D., Pembroke, Mass.; two daughters, Margaret L. Janousek, La Crosse, and Geraldine Thornton, Lake Jackson, Texas; two sisters, Sadie Phipps, Hutchinson, and Betty Harper, Hermiston, Oregon; 12 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
Graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Mitchell Cemetery, rural Hutchinson. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson.
