John W was born on September 3rd, 1854 in Smith Twp. Belmont Co. OH.1 John W's father was William W. Glover and his mother was Mary Ann Wilkinson. His paternal grandparents were David Glover and Ann Sarah Wilson. He had eight brothers and four sisters, named James Hanson, Elihu, Calvin L, George R, David A, Archibald D, Owen C, Clark J, Mary A, Elizabeth Susan, Catherine Sarah and Eliza Jane. He was the sixth oldest of the thirteen children. He died at the age of 57 in 1911 in Morrisonville, Christian Co. IL. He was buried in Fairview Cemetery Christian Co. IL.1 1 General Notes
