Samuel Archibald GRANDSTAFF 
Samuel Archibald was born on September 11th, 1843. Samuel Archibald's father was David GRANDSTAFF and his mother was Margaret PHILLIPS. His maternal grandparents were John PHILLIPS and Mary UNKNOWN. He had eight brothers and two sisters, named William Dillard, Isaac Preston, Levi Benjamin, David Wilson, Thomas Henry, Shelah Bradley, Josie Pendleton, John Bethel, Margaret (Polly) and Martha Jane. He was the fourth youngest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 19 on November 30th, 1862.-
