John Bethel GRANDSTAFF 
John Bethel was born on February 17th, 1893. John Bethel's father was David GRANDSTAFF and his mother was Margaret PHILLIPS. His maternal grandparents were John PHILLIPS and Mary UNKNOWN. He had eight brothers and two sisters, named William Dillard, Isaac Preston, Levi Benjamin, David Wilson, Thomas Henry, Samuel Archibald, Shelah Bradley, Josie Pendleton, Margaret (Polly) and Martha Jane. He was the youngest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 13 on December 5th, 1906.-

John Bethel and Arsula were married in a religious ceremony on August 4th, 1857. They had two sons and three daughters, named Frank, William D, Jane, Martha and Mary.
