William GILLESPIE 
William was born on December 28th, 1785 in , , Sc. William's father was John GILLESPIE and his mother was Jane HARVEY. His paternal grandparents were William GILLESPIE and Mary Clendenin; his maternal grandfather is William HARVEY. He had two brothers and three sisters, named Mathew, Robert Harvey, Rebecca, Mary and Isabell. He was the third oldest of the six children. He died at the age of 65 on September 23rd, 1851.General Notes
