Thomas was born on September 18th, 1768 in Downington, Chester, Pa. Thomas' father was Joseph GHEEN and his mother was Elizabeth INGRAM. His paternal grandfather was Thomas GHEEN and his paternal grandmother is Alice UNKNOWN; his maternal grandfather was Thomas INGRAM and his maternal grandmother is Margaret FRAME. He had six brothers and four sisters, named John, William, Joseph, Joseph, Jonathan, Levi, Anna Mary, Elizabeth, Hannah and Susanna. He was the third oldest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 84 on May 23rd, 1853 in West Goshen, Chester, Pa. He was buried in May 1853 in East Goshen, Chester, Pa.General Notes
