Edward GAITHER 
Edward was born in 1787 in Of, Leftout, Ann Arundel, Md. Edward's father was Benjamin GAITHER and his mother was Rachel JACOBS. His paternal grandfather was John GAITHER and his paternal grandmother is Anne RULEY; his maternal grandparents were Jeremiah JACOB and Rachel GAITHER. He had seven brothers and two sisters, named John, Edward, John, Basil, Zachariah, Jeremiah, Rezin, Rachel and Ann. He was the youngest of the ten children. He died at the age of 69 on August 5th, 1856 in Of, Leftout, Ann Arundel, Md. He was buried in December 1856 in Probate Date, Cannon, Nc.General Notes
