Josephine Epperson 
Josephine was born in 1838 in Tennessee. Josephine's father was Essex Epperson and her mother was Mary Hathaway. Her paternal grandparents were Antony Epperson and Ellender Divers. She had two brothers and four sisters, named Nepolon, Marshall Ervin, Louisa, Mary, Virginia A. and Amanda. She is the second oldest of the seven children.-
