Robert Thomas was born on April 20th, 1860 in Coalville, Sum, Ut. Robert Thomas' father was Absalom Porter DOWDLE and his mother was Sarah Ann HOLLADAY. His paternal grandparents were Robert DOWDELL and Sarah Ann ROBINSON; his maternal grandparents were John Daniel Sr. HOLLADAY and Catherine Beasley HIGGINS. He had three brothers and four sisters, named Absalom Porter, William Porter, John Henry, Sarah Catherine, Martha Jane, Mary Elizabeth and Louisa Ann. He was the third youngest of the eight children. He died at the age of 61 on March 22nd, 1922. He was buried after March 22nd, 1922.General Notes
