Sidney Catherine was born on October 16th, 1859 in ,Kanawha,W. Virginia. Sidney Catherine's father is Michael Dewitt Clinton and her mother was Roxalana "Roxy" Fisher. Her maternal grandfather was George Fisher and her maternal grandmother is Frances A. Lanham. She had nine brothers and two sisters, named Charles Bingley, George Dunreath, John Dewitt, Summitt Wellington "Wild Bill", Henry Franklin, Joseph S., Hiram Wade, Jacob, Robert Melton, Mary Ann and Ida Jane. She was the fourth youngest of the twelve children. She died at the age of 19 on March 1st, 1879 in ,Kanawha,W. Virginia.-
