John Cissell 
John was born about 1721 in PGC,MD. John's father was Phillip Sessell Cissell and his mother was Elizabeth Sprigg Gittings. His paternal grandparents were William Cecil and Mary Unknown. He had three brothers and three sisters, named William B., Joshua, Philip Gittings, Mary, Elizabeth and Susannah. He had a half-sister named Elizabeth. He died in 1778.General Notes
