Mahala Casdorph

Mahala was born in 1796 in Kanawha Co, VA. Mahala's father is Henry Casdorph and her mother is Hannah Smith. Her paternal grandfather was Jacob Casdorph. She had two brothers and a sister, named John, Azariah and Elizabeth. She was the youngest of the four children. She had three half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Jacob, Henry Caleb, Delaney, Jane and Susan. She died at the age of 74 in 1870 in Lawrence, Marion Co., IN.

‌Mahala and Benjamin were married in a religious ceremony about 1825 in Kanawha Co. VA.
