Jane was born in 1807.  Jane's father is Henry Casdorph and her mother is Elizabeth Susan Guthrie.  Her paternal grandfather was Jacob Casdorph. She had three brothers and a sister, named Jacob, Henry Caleb, Delaney and Susan.  She was the third oldest of the five children. She had two half-brothers and two half-sisters, named John, Azariah, Elizabeth and Mahala.  She died in Missiouri.

‌Jane and John were married in a religious ceremony in 1825 in Kanawha Co. VA.
