Elizabeth was born about 1566 in Combermere, Cheshire, Eng.. Elizabeth's father was Richard COTTON, ESQUIRE and her mother was Mary MAINWARING. Her paternal grandparents were George COTTON and Mary ONLEY; her maternal grandparents were Arthur MAINWARING and Margaret MAINWARING.
