Arthur COTTON 
Arthur was born about 1562 in Combermere, Cheshire, Eng.. Arthur's father was Richard COTTON, ESQUIRE and his mother was Mary MAINWARING. His paternal grandparents were George COTTON and Mary ONLEY; his maternal grandparents were Arthur MAINWARING and Margaret MAINWARING. He had two brothers and five sisters, named George, Andrew, Mary, Elizabeth, Winifred, Dorothy and Frances. He was the second oldest of the eight children. He died in 1649.General Notes
