Zachariah Betts 
Zachariah was born on October 21st, 1764 in Buckingham Township, Bucks County, Pennsylvania.1 Zachariah's father was Thomas Betts and his mother was Sarah Phebe Smith. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Betts and Susannah Willett Stevenson; his maternal grandparents were William Smith and Rebecca Wilson. He had five brothers and five sisters, named Thomas, William, John, Stephen, Isaac, Sarah, Ann, Rebecca, Susannah and Mary. He was the youngest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 57 in 1821 in Davidson County, Tennessee.1 -
