Thomas De was born about 1288 in , Ulster Province, Ireland. Thomas De's father was Richard De Burgh and his mother was Margaret De Burgh. His paternal grandparents were Walter BURGH and Aveline FITZJOHN; his maternal grandparents were John De BURGH and Cecilia De BALIOL. He had five brothers and eleven sisters, named Edmund, John, Walter De, John de, EDMUND DE, Aveline, Margery, Matilda, Aveline, Joan, Eleanor, Eleanor, Elizabeth De, Maud (Matilda) De, Katherine De and Joan De. He was the fourth youngest of the seventeen children. He died in 1316.General Notes
