Elizabeth De was born about 1284 in Of, Dunfermline, Fifeshire, Scotland.  Elizabeth De's father was Richard De Burgh and her mother was Margaret De Burgh.  Her paternal grandparents were Walter BURGH and Aveline FITZJOHN; her maternal grandparents were John De BURGH and Cecilia De BALIOL. She had six brothers and ten sisters, named Edmund, John, Walter De, John de, Thomas De, EDMUND DE, Aveline, Margery, Matilda, Aveline, Joan, Eleanor, Eleanor, Maud (Matilda) De, Katherine De and Joan De.  She was the eighth youngest of the seventeen children.  She died on October 26th, 1327 in , Cullen, Banffshire, Scotland.  She was buried in , Dunfermline, Fifeshire, Scotland.

‌Elizabeth De and Robert I were married in a religious ceremony in 1302 in Writtle, Near Chelsford, Essex, England.  They had five sons and five daughters, named Robert, Neil, Walter, John De, David II King Of, Matilda, Margaret Princess Of, Margaret, Christina and Elizabeth.
