William BUCHANAN

William was born in 1756 in Blairlush, Tyrone, Donegal, Ireland. William's father was John BUCHANAN and his mother was Jane Trindle RUSSELL. His paternal grandparents are William Alexander BUCHANAN and Mrs. BUCHANAN; his maternal grandparents were Samuel RUSSELL and Mary WATT. He had six brothers and three sisters, named Samuel, Thomas, James, John, Archibald, George, Sarah, Margaret and Elizabeth. He was the third oldest of the ten children. He died at the age of 74 in 1830.
