Sarah BUCHANAN 
Sarah was born on November 4th, 1797 in Cove Gap, Franklin, Pennsylvania. Sarah's father was James BUCHANAN and her mother was Elizabeth SPEER. Her paternal grandparents were John BUCHANAN and Jane Trindle RUSSELL; her maternal grandfather was James SPEER and her maternal grandmother is Mary PATTERSON. She had five brothers and five sisters, named James, John, William Speer, George Washington, Edward Young, Mary, Jane, Maria, Elizabeth and Harriet. She was the fifth oldest of the eleven children. She died at the age of 27 on January 27th, 1825.General Notes
