John Hoover BRUMBAUGH 
John Hoover was born on March 3rd, 1857. John Hoover's father was John Bowers BRUMBAUGH and his mother was Esther Hoover. His maternal grandparents were John Hoover and Elizabeth Brumbaugh. He had four brothers and six sisters, named David Hoover, Eli H., William Hoover, Levi Hoover, Susannah, Rachel, Barbara H., Elizabeth H., Sarah Ann and Mary Jane. He was the third youngest of the eleven children. He had a half-brother and a half-sister, named Henry Dilling and Harriet. He died at the age of 98 on May 7th, 1955. He was buried in Fairview Cem., Shellytown, Woodbury Twp., Blair Co., PA.1 2 General Notes
