Margaret BOWEN

Margaret was born in 1763 in Glades Creek, Roanoke Valley, Virginia. Margaret's father was Reece (Rees) BOWEN and her mother was Levisa(Louisa) Margaret SMITH. Her paternal grandparents were John BOWEN and Lilly MCILHANEY. She had five brothers and five sisters, named John, Reece, Rees, Henry, Arthur, Levisa(Louisa), Rebecca S., Nancy, Lily and Hannah. She was the fourth oldest of the eleven children. She died at the age of 83 in 1846.
