His paternal grandparents were John BOSTICK and Nancy Elizabeth CHESLEY OR WILSON; his maternal grandfather was Nicholas III PERKINS and his maternal grandmother is Bethenia HARDING. He had four brothers and four sisters, named Absalom, John, Absalom, Manoah Hardin, Bethenia, Susannah, Christina and Anne.
