John BARNETT

John was born in 1826 in , Scott Co., Va.  John's father was James BARNETT and his mother is Jane WILLIAMS.  His paternal grandparents are James BARNETT and Rebecca UNKNOWN; his maternal grandfather is Joseph WILLIAMS. He had three brothers and five sisters, named Jackson, Eli (Elijah), James William, Malinda, Phebe, Margaret (Peggy), Sarah Elizabeth and Adeline.  He is the oldest of the nine children.
