Eli (Elijah) BARNETT

Eli (Elijah) was born on September 15th, 1834 in , Scott Co., Va.  Eli (Elijah)'s father was James BARNETT and his mother is Jane WILLIAMS.  His paternal grandparents are James BARNETT and Rebecca UNKNOWN; his maternal grandfather is Joseph WILLIAMS. He had three brothers and five sisters, named John, Jackson, James William, Malinda, Phebe, Margaret (Peggy), Sarah Elizabeth and Adeline.  He was the fourth oldest of the nine children.  He died at the age of 50 on February 23rd, 1885.  He was buried in Barnett Cem., On Big Ridge, Below Clinchport.
