Nancy BACON 
Nancy was born on February 18th, 1828 in Jonesborough, TN.1 Nancy's father was Jonathan BACON and her mother was Deborah BARRON. Her maternal grandparents were George Thomas BARRON and Phebe JOBE. She had two brothers and nine sisters, named Jonathan W. (John), Joseph C., Alm Delina (Ellendind), Dicey, Lydia Ann (Lyddian), Martha, Catherine, Elizabeth, Sarah A., Mary and Deborah. She was the second oldest of the twelve children. She died at the age of 74 on October 27th, 1902 in near Tolu, Arkansas.1 General Notes

In Memoriam Ms. Nancy Galloway (nee Bacon) died at the home of
her son, JMK Galloway, near Tolu, Arkansas, Oct 27, 1902, age 74
years, 3 months, and 9 days. She was born in Washington County,
East TN, Feb. 18, 1828 and resided here until Feb 1891. In 1843
she married G.W. Galloway, nine children were born to them, four
of which with her husband have passed over the river to await
her coming. Mrs. Galloway united with the Limestone Baptist
Church many years ago, and moving to Arkansas, continued in the
faith, uniting with the Liberty Baptist Church of Washington
County, Arkansas.
