Polly was born about 1820 in <, Marion Co., Virginia (wva)>. Polly's father was John II ASHCRAFT and her mother was Elizabeth ROBINS. Her paternal grandparents were John (Old) ASHCRAFT and Charity Beeson; her maternal grandparents were Brintnell ROBBINS and Mary BOARDMAN. She had four brothers and four sisters, named Ezekiel, Isaac, John J, Nathaniel, Catherine, Charity, Abigail and Rachel. She is the youngest of the nine children.General Notes
