Thomas was born on June 1st, 1300 in Brotherton, Yorkshire, England.1 Thomas' father was Edward Plantagenet and his mother was Marguerite Le Hardi. His paternal grandparents were Henry Plantagenet and Eleanor Berenger; his maternal grandparents were Phillip UNKNOWN and Marie De Brabant. He had a brother and a sister, named Edmund and Eleanor. He was the oldest of the three children. He had four half-brothers and eleven half-sisters, named John, Henry, Alfonso, Edward, Eleanor, Joan, Julian Katherine, Margaret, Berengaria, Mary, Alice, Isabella, Elizabeth, Beatrice and Blanche. He died at the age of 38 on August 4th, 1338 in Hanwich, Essex, England.1 General Notes
