Her paternal grandparents were Iorwerth Drwyndwn Ap Owain and Marered (Margaret) Ferch Madog; her maternal grandparents were John Plantagenet and Agatha De Ferrers. She had a brother and five sisters, named Dafydd, Angharad, Margaret, Tegwared-Y-Bais Wed, Margred Verch and Gwladus Ddu. She had a half-brother and three half-sisters, named Gruffydd, Gwladys Ddu, Margaret and Helen. She died at the age of 33 in 1253 in In Childbirth, Child Also Died.
