Avice was born in 1097 in Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, England. Avice's father was Roger De Montgomery and her mother was Almodis De La Marche. Her paternal grandparents were Roger De Montgomery and Mabel (Talvas) De Belleme; her maternal grandparents were Adalbert III Count Of Marche and Poncia (Ponce) UNKNOWN. She had a brother and a sister, named Aldebert and Panica (Ponce). She was the second oldest of the three children. She died at the age of 52 in 1149.-
