Daniel Lawton 
Daniel was born in 1639 in Portsmouth, Newport, Rhode Island.1 Daniel's father was Thomas Lawton and his mother was Elizabeth Salisbury. His paternal grandparents were George Lawton and Isbell Smith; his maternal grandfather was Mr. Salisbury. He had three sisters named Elizabeth, Rebecca and Ann. He was the second oldest of the four children. He had a half-brother and a half-sister, named Issac and Sarah. He died at the age of 80 on June 28th, 1719 in Portsmouth, Rhode Island.1 General Notes
