Ann was born in 1644 in Cranfield, England.1 Ann's father was Thomas Lawton and her mother was Elizabeth Salisbury. Her paternal grandparents were George Lawton and Isbell Smith; her maternal grandfather was Mr. Salisbury. She had a brother and two sisters, named Daniel, Elizabeth and Rebecca. She was the youngest of the four children. She had a half-brother and a half-sister, named Issac and Sarah. She died at the age of 59 in 1703.1 General Notes
